About

Hello, I'm Abby,

a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), who completed my training from the Pacific College of Health and Science. My education there encompassed both Eastern and Western modalities, providing me with a diverse skill set.

During my time at Pacific College, I had the opportunity to complete an internship at Womankind, a local non-profit organization dedicated to assisting survivors of gender-based violence. There I delivered trauma-informed massage care to my clients. This experience allowed me to build trust and develop unique client-centered treatment plans.

Before my training in massage therapy I was a birthing doula. It is a passion of mine to work with pregnant and postpartum women. Additionally, I hold certifications in prenatal and postnatal massage, yoga instruction, along with sound bowl healing.

My style incorporates Swedish, MFR, DNM, Acupressure, Shiatsu, Tuina, Thai massage, and incorporates the use of Essential Oils. My mission is rooted in the belief that the mind’s first step to self awareness is through the body and MOVEMENT IS LIFE—be it physical, emotional, psychological, or spiritual. As a massage therapist and health coach, I aim to facilitate relaxation, encourage a thoughtful connection between the body and mind, and assist in personal rejuvenation.

Join me at Rooted River Massage for what I hope to be a transformative experience where the river of well-being flows gently, and the roots of self-awareness run deep.
